Cheyenne, WY – As the three-mile water main and fire hydrant replacement project near Dell Range Blvd. wraps up this week, the City of Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities (Board) will continue to advance water service reliability to a new area. Beginning October 21, 2020 and running through December 2020, McCann Ave. between Lincolnway and Holmes St. will be under construction for the next stage of the water rehabilitation project. Residential access will be accommodated on McCann Ave.; however, the Board asks residents not to park in the marked work zone right-of-way between the hours of 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and occasionally on Saturday.

This project will advance water service reliability for the area and is part of the Board’s initiative to accelerate the renewal of water infrastructure that has reached the end of its useful life. Work will be completed by Aztec Construction Company. The Board apologized for any inconvenience this project may cause and thanks Cheyenne residents for their patience as the Board upgrades the water system.
