The Board of Public Utilities (BOPU) has partnered with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in the WaterSense program which is a national program that makes it easy to choose water-efficient products and provides resources to help conserve water.  WaterSense labels water-efficient products that are certified to use at least 20% less water, save energy and perform as well as or better than regular models.

WaterSense products include sink faucets, high-efficiency toilets and urinals, showerheads, irrigation heads and control boxes.
