ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The Board of Public Utilities is seeking bids for services to replace the existing fluorescent lighting system and system controls, with new LED lighting technology, at its Administration building location, 2416 Snyder Ave. Cheyenne WY, 82001.
Services shall include:
All work as normally required to Upgrade the existing computer-controlled fluorescent lighting system to a simplified, energy-efficient LED lighting system with manual and/or basic occupancy-sensor control with dimming capabilities in designated areas. The upgrade will remove reliance on the LUTRON centralized control system, LUTRON Energi Savr Nodes and Eco System software while maintaining existing lighting fixtures and adequate illumination levels per applicable building codes.
Sealed Bids will be received by the Board of Public Utilities (BOPU), at its Administration/Engineering Building located at 2416 Snyder Ave. Cheyenne, WY Attn: Dennis Graham or electronically at dgraham@cheyennebopu.org until 2:00 P.M. local time on September 8th, 2026, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened.
Bids will be received for a single prime contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: City of Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities.
Bidding Documents may be viewed and downloaded online at www.cheyennebopu.org/Bids-and-Proposals. The date that the Bidding Documents are downloaded from the website by the Bidder will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of the Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office.

Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
